Surprise! Despite the 49ers’ pathetic run defense, this one was on the arm of Ryan Tannehill, who had another very strong effort. Tannehill was 20 of 30 for 285 yards and three touchdowns. No fourth-quarter heroics were needed this time, but anytime the 49ers had hiccups in coverage, Tannehill pounced and made them pay.

Nice job by Jay Ajayi to outrun two linebackers to the pylon for a 2-yard TD. Ajayi finished with 18 carries for just 45 yards.
