The short passes, missed throws and four sacks didn’t matter in the end. What did matter was that when the Dolphins got the ball on their 25, trailing 10-7 with 2:11 left, Ryan Tannehill went 5 for 5 for 53 yards, including a 9-yard touchdown to DeVante Parker.
It gave the Dolphins their fifth win in a row and once again was the kind of gritty performance in which they found a way to win when past Dolphins teams have found ways to lose. And Tannehill pulled off the kind of fourth-quarter rally that hasn’t happened with enough regularity throughout his career.
