Former Dolphins wide receiver Davone Bess was arrested in Arizona early Monday morning after police officers said he fled during a traffic stop and barricaded himself in his home for hours.
The incident began around midnight when Bess fled from Gilbert (Arizona) police at a traffic stop. It ended at about 4:45 a.m. when Bess was taken into custody after a team of police and SWAT officers obtained a warrant to lawfully enter his home, according to the Arizona Republic.
Bess faces three felony charges, according to the Arizona Republic: endangerment, felony flight and failure to stop for a police officer.
