Former Dolphins DT A.J. Francis claimed off waivers by the Seattle Seahawks

It was reported this past Saturday that the Miami Dolphins had released defensive tackle A.J. Francis so they could sign practice squad linebacker Mike Hull to the active roster. Well today, Francis now has a new home as a member of the Seattle Seahawks.

Francis, who went undrafted out of Maryland in 2013, has spent time with the Dolphins and New England Patriots during his short three-year career, and he has only made one tackle due to him usually being inactive on game day.

The large defensive tackle recently made headlines after taking a job as an Uber driver, but now he'll have an opportunity to follow in the footsteps of another former Dolphins player - Tony McDaniel - and try to get his career off the ground with Seattle.
