MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Former Miami Dolphins head coach Don Shula is at home resting following a visit to the hospital earlier this week.
CBS4 sources say that Shula, 86, was treated at the hospital for a few days after having trouble breathing.
He returned to his home on Monday and is doing much better, per the source.
Shula was head coach of the Dolphins from 1970 to 1995, leading the team to Super Bowl championships in 1972 and 1973, while also reaching the big game in 1971, 1983 and 1985.
He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1997.
