In a move that surprised no one, the Miami Dolphins have officially signed the now former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase to be their next head coach.
Gase, 37, is the tenth coach (including interim ones) that will take over as the head coach for the franchise since Don Shula left after the 1995 NFL season, and the young coach will have a lot of work ahead of him to prove he was the right choice.
Although Dolphins fans don't want to admit it, Gase was one of the hottest commodities in the NFL to be a head coach, as he not only had meetings with the Dolphins, but also with the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, and the New York Giants - who recently let go of their future Hall of Fame head coach, Tom Coughlin.
