The fire at Tyreek Hill's Miami-area home on Wednesday afternoon was deemed an "unintentional, accidental" incident, Davie Fire Rescue said, according to Carolina Borges and Dannielle Garcia of WSVN-7 News Miami.
The fire was caused by a child playing with matches or a lighter, investigators said. It's unclear if the child involved was one of Hill's children.
The Miami Dolphins wide receiver left Wednesday's practice early after being alerted to the fire at his home. The team said in a statement that everyone was out of the house and safe at the time of the incident, according to 7 News Miami.
