Jordan Cameron made what might be, through two games, the Dolphins’ catch of the season in Sunday’s 31-24 loss at New England. The veteran tight end snatched a bullet thrown by quarterback Ryan Tannehill between two defenders, took a hard hit, and held onto the ball for a touchdown.
It was a thing of beauty.
Cameron’s impressive reception continued a second-half trend in which the Dolphins’ tight ends and wide receivers finally all became playmakers at the same time. This is what’s necessary for the Dolphins to score points and win games.
