Ninety receptions. That is the Miami Dolphins single season record for catches set by the legendary O.J. McDuffie in 1998. Current Dolphins receiver and fan-favorite Jarvis Landry averaged 6.75 receptions in the second half of last season, and grabbed eight catches in this season’s opener against the Washington Redskins. If Landry sustains his 6.75 catch average this year, we will be looking at the Dolphins new all-time leader in single season receptions.
I’m sure this lofty milestone is not on Landry’s mind this early in the NFL season, but he is definitely aiming towards greatness in his young career.
