AVENTURA — The Dolphins know how crucial it is to have their canopy ready in August for the preseason. And they’re not wasting any time.
Constructions crews are literally working 24/7 with some of the largest cranes in the country to build the canopy which will give shade and weather protection to fans at the stadium formerly known as Sun Life.
“Right now we’re on schedule, and it’s a tight schedule,” said team CEO Tom Garfinkel, speaking Monday morning at the inaugural Dolphins Cancer Challenge Celebrity Golf Tournament at Turnberry Isle.
