With the May 12th deadline that would affect future compensatory picks having passed (no picks made after the 12th figure into the calculations for compensatory picks awarded by the NFL in 2017), the Miami Dolphins will reportedly be signing former Tennessee Titans, Seattle Seahawk, and Detroit Lions defensive end Jason Jones in the coming days.
Jason Jones was originally drafted in the second round of the 2008 draft out of Eastern Michigan by Jeff Fisher with the Tennesse Titans, Jones will presumably be part of the rotation at defensive end, with projected starters Cameron Wake and Mario Williams.
