Dolphins waive Bryce Harris

The Miami Dolphins announced on Tuesday the team waived offensive tackle Bryce Harris. He joined the Dolphins on November 21 after the team was awarded his rights off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars. He did not play in a game for the Dolphins.

Harris had been on the 53-man roster for the Jaguars, but did not make an appearance in six weeks with the team. He played in 35 games for the New Orleans Saints from 2012-2014 and the Atlanta Falcons in 2015.

The move likely opens the roster spot necessary for Jason Jones to be activated after his two-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
