The Miami Dolphins did not land their first choice of free agent running backs on Tuesday when the Denver Broncos matched the offer sheet the team had signed with restricted free agent C.J. Anderson. The move by the Broncos kept Anderson in Denver on a 4-year, $18-million contract, and it meant Miami was back to the drawing board on finding a running back who would split carries in 2016 with Jay Ajayi.
