Oh how things can change on a dime. For the last two days the talk in Dolphins circles was the arrival of corner Byron Maxwell and LB Kiko Alonso via trade. The rumored compensation was a simple swap of first round picks. Now that trade appears to be dead.

The reason the trade may have fallen through completely is that Maxwell was unable to pass his physical with the Dolphins who saw a shoulder injury.
