The Miami Dolphins will bring in veteran linebacker A.J. Hawk for a workout, according to a report from the Palm Beach Post's Joe Schad. The 10-year veteran is currently a free agent after being released by the Cincinnati Bengals back in April.
Hawk began his career as the fifth-overall draft pick, selected by the Green Bay Packers out of Ohio State in 2006. He spend nine years with Green Bay, where he appeared in 142 games with 136 starts. He recorded 926 tackles, nine nterceptions, 33 passes defensed, four forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, and 19 sacks with the Packers.
