Left tackle Branden Albert is the key to the Dolphins’ season. Period.
Albert’s recovery and return to 100 percent health from a right knee injury is more important than the questions at both guards, kicker, right cornerback and linebacker.
Albert’s recovery is also more important to the success of the season than that of wide receiver DeVante Parker, the first-round pick who is sidelined with a foot injury.
Think about it this way:
Albert, a Pro Bowl selection in 2013, could save the Dolphins’ porous offensive line. And that could save the season. He’s that good.
