The Miami Dolphins are bringing back defensive tackle John Jenkins, according to a report from the Palm Beach Post’s Joe Schad. The free agent deal is a one-year contract for the former Chicago Bears lineman. He spent part of the 2020 season on injured reserve, but appeared in 11 games with 21 tackles and a pass defensed.
Prior to joining the Bears as a free agent in 2020, Jenkins spent the 2019 season with Miami. He played in all 16 games with five starts for the Dolphins, recording 34 tackles with a sack and a pass defensed.
