The Dolphins made a vital acquisition Tuesday evening, resigning veteran quarterback Matt Moore to a new deal. Moore, who received interest from several teams, visited with the Cowboys and Colts early on in free agency. Despite having interest elsewhere, Moore signed a two-year deal worth a reported $3.5 million to remain with the team.
Moore, 31, joined the Dolphins in 2011 after spending his first three seasons with the Carolina Panthers. The eight-year veteran started 12 games for the Dolphins in 2011, leading the team to a 6-6 record.
