The Miami Dolphins announced the signing of free agent offensive lineman Hroniss Grasu on Wednesday. The move provides the team with depth as center Jake Brendel was moved back to injured reserve in the corresponding roster move.
Grasu was waived late last month by the Baltimore Ravens after appearing three games including one start, primarily working as a reserve guard. He joined the NFL in 2015 as a third-round draft choice of the Chicago Bears, where he worked as a backup center. He has 17 career appearances with 13 starts, 12 of those at center with the Bears.
