The Miami Dolphins had a busy Thursday, signing running backs Daniel Thomas and Isaiah Pead, as well as tight end MarQueis Gray, the team announced late in the day. They also officially announced the re-signing of linebacker Spencer Paysinger. The moves start to round out depth on the roster ahead of the start of the offseason program.
Thomas was the Dolphins' second round pick in 2011, and had been expected to turn into the team's top running back but that never materialized. Concussions early in his career were a concern, and it seemed to make him hesitant until a new helmet was designed for him.
