The Miami Dolphins have signed veteran CB Alterraun Verner to a contract on Tuesday and placed LB Koa Misi on injured reserve.
Verner was among the players who worked out for Miami on Tuesday.
Verner, 28, is a former fourth-round pick of the Titans back in 2010. He spent four years in Tennessee before signing a four-year, $25.5 million contract that included $14 million guaranteed with the Buccaneers in 2014.
Verner was set to make a base salary of $6.5 million for the 2017 season when the Buccaneers released him in a move that freed up $6.
