The Dolphins have put the no-huddle, up-tempo offense experiment on hold. If this sounds familiar, that’s because it is. The same thing happened under former offensive coordinator Bill Lazor.
It seems the no-huddle, up-tempo offensive style caused confusion to some extent in past years, and this year. Now the confusion has been reduced significantly.
Using the huddle more in the last two games, both victories, is a smart move by the Dolphins.
“Since we’re huddling more, everyone is more sure of exactly what to do and how to do it,” quarterback Ryan Tannehill said.
