The Miami Dolphins made a series of roster moves on Friday, saving more the $10 million against the salary cap in 2016.
The Miami Dolphins made two roster moves on Friday, clearing salary cap space in the process. The team announced the release of defensive end Quinton Coples and cornerback Brice McCain, a move that should save the team over $10 million in salary cap space next season.
Coples joined the Dolphins in November, being claimed off waivers from the New York Jets. The first round pick for the Jets in 2012, Coples never seemed to fit the team's system, being used as both a defensive end and a linebacker, and he never really excelled at either spot.
