Dolphins safety Reshad Jones is back in Davie after holding out all spring over a contract dispute.
Sports Illustrated first reported that Jones is returning to practice today after skipping all of the team’s voluntary offseason practices and Tuesday’s mandatory minicamp practice.
Jones would’ve been fined $76,000 if he missed the entire minicamp. Skipping Tuesday’s practice cost him more than $25,000.
It’s unclear if the Dolphins caved to any of Jones’ contract demands or if he simply gave up and decided it wasn’t worth the fines.
If he does get a new contract, it’s not happening immediately, according to the Miami Herald.
