Dolphins safety Louis Delmas likely out for season with ACL injury

Safety Louis Delmas, who missed the end of last season with an ACL injury and has a history of knee injuries, was carted off the field. He was injured on an one-on-one drill covering former Dolphins receiver Ted Ginn Jr. It was the same knee he injured last year.

Carolina receiver Kelvin Benjamin, a former FSU standout, was also carted off after his foot got caught in the turf during 11-on-1 drills.

If Delmas is out for an extended period of time, Miami will look to Michael Thomas or Walt Aikens to replace him in the lineup.
