ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Miami Dolphins safety Isa Abdul-Quddus suffered a neck injury that kept him from playing in the final minutes of Saturday's game against the Buffalo Bills.
The play occurred when Abdul-Quddus, the Dolphins' starting free safety, collided with teammate Xavien Howard on a 18-yard pass that tight end Charles Clay scored on after shedding Abdul-Quddus' tackle, closing the Bills' deficit to 28-21 with one minute left in the third quarter.
Abdul-Quddus is an important defender for the Dolphins because he came into Saturday's game second on the team with 74 tackles, and has also contributed two interceptions and one sack.
