The Miami Dolphins are heading into the 2016 NFL season with a question mark at the running back position, mostly because there is not a “proven” runner on the roster. Presumed starter Jay Ajayi is entering his second NFL season after missing the first part of his rookie campaign with a rib injury. Behind him are rookie Kenyan Drake and third-year running back Damien Williams, who has the most experience among the top three runners with 52 carries for 181 yards.
Ajayi carried the ball 49 times in 2015, picking up 187 yards with a touchdown.
