The Dolphins are freeing up cash to get ready for free agency.
Miami on Saturday released receiver Greg Jennings, freeing up $4 million. Jennings had just 19 receptions and a touchdown in his lone season with Miami.
As expected, the Dolphins restructured defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh’s deal, giving the team an additional $18 million.
The Dolphins also officially announced that they’ve restructured linebacker Koa Misi’s contract, which the Palm Beach Post previously detailed.
The Dolphins are now about $19 million under the cap and would have about $32 million spend if defensive end Olivier Vernon signs elsewhere.
