In order to make room for the incoming rookies, the Miami Dolphins had to wave goodbye to some players already on the roster, and those unfortunate three were running back Jahwan Edwards, wide receiver Christion Jones and DE Damontre Moore.
The biggest surprise on this list is Damontre Moore, who could've provided good depth at a position where depth is already very slim. Miami was presumably hoping to find a pass-rusher in the draft this year, but they decided to draft primarily on offense and only drafted a couple of cornerbacks, leaving the defensive line untouched.
Moore was originally picked up off of waivers from the Giants after he was waived because of behavior and maturity issues that saw the former talented third-round pick violating several team rules on multiple occasions.
