Dolphins re-sign John Denney

The Miami Dolphins avoided a monster-movie style, pitch-form armed mob on Thursday with work from agent Ian Greengross via the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson that they had re-signed long snapper John Denney. The 2005 undrafted free agent signing by the team has not missed a game in his career, playing in all 192 possible contests. He is a fan favorite, and his re-signing will be welcome news.

Denney has been selected to two Pro Bowls and is among the top long snappers in the league, despite his being 38 years old - or old for football players.
