For two straight weeks, Miami Dolphins Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa won the NFL’s offensive Rookie of the Week—thanks to devoted fans voting in hordes for their franchise QB.
Unfortunately, he won’t have a chance for the threepeat.
Instead, fellow rookie running back Salvon Ahmed is nominated for this week’s award. Ahmed carried the ball 23 times for a career-high 122 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 22-12 win. Ahmed’s 122 yards was the most by an undrafted player in his rookie season in franchise history. It was also the 8th-most by a Dolphins RB in franchise history.
