MIAMI -- The Dolphins placed left guard Isaiah Wynn on injured reserve Tuesday with a quad injury and activated cornerback Nik Needham from the physically unable to perform list.
Wynn injured the quad during the Dolphins' first offensive series in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and did not return. Speaking to local media Monday, coach Mike McDaniel said his recovery would be a matter of weeks.
"We are getting more information, but it does look like it will be weeks, as it wasn't a bump or a bruise," he said.
