DAVIE - The Miami Dolphins are preparing for a prolonged absence from starting tight end Jordan Cameron, who suffered a concussion in Miami's 30-24 overtime win over the Cleveland Browns 10 days ago.
Cameron, who has suffered four concussions in his six seasons in the NFL, didn't attend Tuesday's practice. He recently visited a specialist to address his re-occurring head injuries, according to a league source.
The Dolphins played Thursday night's game against Cincinnati without Cameron, who has caught eight passes for 60 yards and a touchdown.
