A day after going full speed for the first time this summer, Branden Albert said he didn’t have any negative effects this morning.
“It felt like it felt yesterday,” he said. “It felt good. No difference.”
That doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be ready for the season opener in Washington on Sept. 13.
“I don’t know,” he said. “It’s a long time away. A lot of things can play in to it. Conditioning, progress of my knee with the strength, and the endurance of my knee. I think it’s more the endurance. I don’t think my knee is going to have any complications but it’s the endurance and being on my knee for a long time and stuff like that.
