MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Dolphins players, officials and other members will be traveling to The Bahamas and Haiti this week to bring hygiene kits to the people effected by Hurricane Matthew.
At last week’s Dolphins home game against the Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins Foundation and fans attending the game packed the kits, which include hand sanitizer, bar soap, wash cloths, a tooth brush, tooth paste, deodorant and wipes.
Additionally, on Wednesday Dolphins players, alumni, executives and cheerleaders presented a check of $20,000 to the relief efforts of Hurricane Matthew by The Miami Foundation Give2Cuba Fund. Proceeds will be directed toward those impacted by the widespread devastation in Cuba.
