LOS ANGELES -- The Miami Dolphins placed starting right tackle Austin Jackson on injured reserve Monday with a knee injury that forced him to miss three practices this week.
Jackson will miss at least the next four games, but coach Mike McDaniel on Saturday said he didn't expect the injury to be season ending. It's unclear who will take Jackson's place in the starting lineup, but either veteran Kendall Lamm or rookie Patrick Paul is expected to fill the role.
Jackson missed 15 games in 2022 to various injuries but was durable in 2023, playing 17 of the team's 18 games.
