Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson, on his way to a breakout season, will now spend the rest of the year rehabbing a hip injury. The good news for Wilson is the injury will not require surgery. The bad news is, the Dolphins announced on Wednesday they had placed him on injured reserve, ending his 2018 season.
To fill the roster spot and add depth to the receiving corps, where Miami had DeVante Parker, Jakeem Grant, and Danny Amendola as the only healthy wideouts on the roster, the Dolphins promoted wide receiver Leonte Carroo from the practice squad to the active roster.
