MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Add Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross to the large group of Americans to visit the island of Cuba since President Obama announced his intention to restore diplomatic ties to the nation so close to the shores of South Florida.
Ross told CNBC that he enjoyed his visit to Havana, taking some time to appreciate the art and classic cars.
He also said that while opportunities for businesses and investors continue to open up in Cuba, people should be wary and patient.
“You need a government that really wants change, that really wants business, and really wants to see growth, and you don’t really have any of that feeling [in Cuba] at all,” Ross said Tuesday on CNBC.
