Former Detroit defensive end Jason Jones officially signed with the Dolphins on Monday, adding more talent to Miami’s deepest position on defense.
NFL Network reported that the deal is for one-year at $1.5 million with more than $1 million guaranteed.
Jones — 6-foot-5, 278 pounds — turns 30 on May 23. He had 4.5 sacks in 2015 and five sacks in 2014.
He has 28 career sacks and spent his first four seasons in Tennessee with a year in Seattle.
Jones can also move inside which will give the line more options.
