Parker was hyped as one of the top wide receivers in a draft loaded with wide receiver talent, and only the Oakland Raiders' Amari Cooper and the Chicago Bears' Kevin White were considered to be better than him by the majority of draft analysts.
His career at Louisville saw him breaking out as a potential superstar in his final year, as he nearly tied his college career highs in total receptions and reception yards in five fewer total games played in the season. It was an injury to his foot that kept him from playing the entire season, and now ironically enough, it's keeping him from participating in his NFL career as well.
