Today he registered four tackles and two assists but it was how well he tackled. Hewitt made plays. Plays that mattered. One play was behind the line of scrimmage, another was a perfectly played pursuit angle across the line that stopped a would be first down.
Most impressive about Hewitt was his handling of Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski. When on Gronkowski, Gronk caught nothing. That’s something that almost no linebacker has been able to do all season.
