Perhaps it was odd timing to ask Michael Thomas once again about his thoughts on kneeling during the national anthem.
But Monday was a day of reflection on the entire season.
Kneeling during the national anthem was part of this Dolphins season. And I was curious what Thomas thought about making such a statement for 17 games, including the playoffs.
“I have no regrets,” the safety said the day after the Dolphins were eliminated by Pittsburgh in the wild-card round.
Thomas is a cerebral sort. He graduated from Stanford with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and earned his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami last summer.
