Dolphins lose C.J. Anderson to Denver

More From Dolphins News

Anderson was signed to an offer sheet five days ago that will pay him $6 million in 2016. The Broncos had until today to match the offer or lose him. They matched and now Anderson will be staying in Denver.

The Dolphins now have a hole to fill at running back. Many believe they will target one in the draft but they are no longer in a reasonable position to draft top runner Ezekial Elliot of Ohio State. Moving down to 13 in the trade with Philadelphia has likely sealed that option.
