DAVIE - Miami Dolphins linebacker Jelani Jenkins is having a rough season from a health standpoint.
The Dolphins starting weakside linebacker began the year playing on an injured right knee he had scoped to weeks before the season opener.
He then injured his groin, which forced him to miss two games and one start.
During Sunday's 27-23 win over the New York Jets the former Florida Gators standout broke his left hand when he crashed into fellow linebacker Kiko Alonso trying to make a tackle.
Jenkins never returned to the game.
