SAN DIEGO - Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Branden Albert injured his left hand while blocking on Miami's 39-yard touchdown pass to Kenny Stills.
Albert, who has spent the past three years as the Dolphins' starting left tackle, is the linchpin that makes Miami's resurgent offensive line forceful. In the two games he missed with salmonella poisoning the Dolphins allowed 11 sacks.
Laremy Tunsil, the Dolphins' 2016 first-round pick, replaced Albert as the team's starting left tackle for the remainder of the first half.
Tunsil, who played lest tackle at Ole Miss, filled in for Albert in Miami's loss to Cincinnati earlier this season.
