It was a confident Caleb Sturgis that went 3-for-3 on field goal attempts in the Dolphins’ scrimmage Friday. And Sturgis, who has battled injuries and accuracy problems in both of his NFL seasons, thinks things will only get better.
“I feel great,” said Sturgis, who was sidelined by a leg injury sustained during a team-sanctioned kickball game during the offseason.
“It’s not the way I would have liked to spend my offseason, rehabbing, but at the end of the day I’ve had a lot of goals to get back to this point where I’m at, and I think I’m going to make big strides in the next few weeks.
