Dolphins' Ja'Wuan James, wearing a Cubs jersey, is back to being himself

Ja’Wuan James seems to be having fun again. It’s as evident as the shirt on his back.

James, the Dolphins’ right tackle who was benched during overtime of the Cleveland victory, sported a throwback Chicago Cubs jersey in the lockerroom Thursday, the day after the Cubs won their first World Series since 1908.

James, wearing the jersey of Hall of Fame second baseman Ryne Sandberg, wasn’t jumping on the Cubs bandwagon. He grabbed the jersey from his closet to honor Josh Friedman, a lifelong Cubs fans who is a talk show host on WAXY-AM (790, The Ticket) and also covers the Dolphins for the station.
