The Dolphins’ linebacking situation reached a higher level of urgency Thursday as starters Jelani Jenkins and Koa Misi did not appear to practice and defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo admitted the staff is in “all hands on deck” mode.
Jenkins suffered an ankle injury and Misi injured his abdomen in Sunday’s victory at Philadelphia. In addition, backup Spencer Paysinger, a key on special teams, was inactive with a neck injury and limited in practice Wednesday.
The injuries during the Philly game pressed into duty Neville Hewitt, who played 65 snaps, Mike Hull (13) and Zach Vigil (five).
Because of the uncertainty leading into Sunday’s game against visiting Dallas, Anarumo said all linebackers on the roster are splitting reps in practice.
