The Dolphins lost Lamar Miller to the Texans via free agency and then lost C.J. Anderson to the Broncos when Denver matched Miami’s offer. The Dolphins have a hole at running back but appear ready to turn the full time work over to Jay Ajayi. They still need a back that can spell him at minimum.
After missing out on CJ Anderson, Dolphins moving in on another CJ: former Cards’ RB Chris Johnson, who’s visiting Miami today, per source.

Johnson was once the top running back in football but age caught up with him and injuries took their toll.
