DAVIE, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins guard Dallas Thomas has a Twitter account but hasn’t used it since training camp began.
“I outgrew it,” Thomas said Sunday. “Social media is overrated.”
It is probably a good idea for Thomas to stay off social media for a while. He is getting plenty of heat in South Florida after another bad performance in limited reps during Miami's preseason opening win against the New York Giants.
Thomas allowed at least two hits on quarterback Ryan Tannehill in two series. He missed a stunt pickup and was pushed back several yards into the quarterback.
